English Builder Awards
Over 90 students were awarded the outstanding awards for their distinguished achievements in English Builder in 2007-2008. 1A, 1D and 3D had won the Best Performing Class Awards while Rachel Lam (2A), Nora Lam (1A) and Ashley Kong (1A) had won the Best Performing Student Awards.

Prize Presentation for Various Mathematics Competitions Outside School
Seventeen Form 1 to Form 4 students participated and received remarkable achievements in several Mathematics Competitions organized by different organizations and schools in the past few months. Prizes were presented to the students during the morning assembly on 21st May 2008.

English Builder Awards
Rachel Lam from 2A has achieved the top 3% in English Builder Level 1 from September 2007 to January 2008 among all participating students in Hong Kong. In recognition of her effort and achievement, a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement was presented to her on 4 March 2008.

Accounting Case Competition for Secondary Schools and Tertiary Institutes 2006
Two of our Form 5 students joined the Accounting Case Competition for Secondary Schools and Tertiary Institutes 2006 jointly organized by Education and Manpower Bureau, HK Institute of Accredited, Accounting Technicians Ltd and Hong Kong Association For Business Education. They are Jennifer Lai(5A2) and Jean Cheng(5S2) of the year 06-07 were awarded the Merit Prize. Congratulations.



Hong Kong Mathematics Project Competition for Secondary Schools (2006-2007)
Our Mathematics Project Team was awarded the Best Presentation Award and the Outstanding Performance Award in the Mathematics Project Competition for Secondary Schools (2006-2007). The Team was comprised of Mimi Chan(3A), Olivia Cheung(3A), Cecilia Kwan(3A), Rena Li(3A), Katy Li(3A) and Winkie Tsai (3A).

The closing ceremony of Learning Villages
The closing ceremony of Learning Villages was held on 19 July 2007 (Sat) at the Chapel of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The group from 3A was awarded the runner-up of the Best Project Award.


The Hong Kong Schools Writing Contest 2007
Regine Anne Loo of 4S2 was awarded the Champion and Gabby Chow of 3B was awarded the 3rd runner-up in the Hong Kong Schools Writing Contest 2007 organized by Department of Education Queensland International.

There were a total of 15252 participants. The writing topic was "No smoking, please." The prize giving ceremony was held on 1st July, 2007 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.


第三屆「生命的歷程」旅遊文學獎徵文比賽
6B班王雯儀同學與葉靜文同學於本年2月,參加由一點文化有限公司主辦的第三屆「生命的歷程」旅遊文學獎徵文比賽,並同時榮獲高級組入 圍獎。 葉靜文同學並於4月1日由全日本空手道連盟剛柔會主辦的2007年度空手道大賽中,奪得16歲以上女子初級組組手(自由搏擊)季軍。

National Geographic Channel - Think Again Awards 2007 - Documentary Making Competition
The group from 5A1 (Tiffany Lee, Natalie Lau, Margaret Yu, Angela Ngai and Ariel Sin) won the Overall Champion of the Senior Section, Think Again Award, with its documentary, "Androgyny", discussing young people who present themselves as the opposite sex. The awards presentation ceremony was held on 5 March 2007 at the EMB Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre.

Virtual Interactive Student-Oriented Learning Environment (VISOLE) featuring Farmtasia Competition organized by CUHK
Sixteen students from F4 joined the Farmtasia competition. Two of them reached the final and Vicki Lau was the overall individual champion.


The 1st Liberal Studies Award Scheme
Our School was shortlisted as one of the most outstanding schools for the 1st Liberal Studies Award Scheme sponsored by the Law's Charitable Foundation and co-organized by the EMB. The award ceremony was held on 25th October 2006 at the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre.


The Best Reader Award in the Extensive Reading Scheme (ERS) 2006-2007
The Extensive Reading Scheme (ERS) in English is conducted for Form 1 to 3 students throughout the school year. Its major aim is to help students cultivate their interest in reading English books. Under this Scheme, students are required to read English books extensively and write book reports.

At the end of the school year, at least one student from each class is chosen as the Best Reader based on the number of books they have read and the quality of the book reports they have written. The students who have been awarded Best Readers are as follows:

二零零六至二零零七年度廣泛閱讀計劃(中文圖書)
廣泛閱讀計劃(中文圖書)於中一至中三中國語文輔導教學及閱讀課舉行。目的以多元化的活動,增強學生的閱讀興趣。學生閱讀書籍後,以任何形式在閱讀札記內撰寫閱讀記錄。全學年完結時,老師挑選每班一位閱讀圖書數量最多,並用心撰寫閱讀札記的學生,頒給獎狀及書卷,以示鼓勵。
