This fruitful and enjoyable event was held on 17th December 2008. Students showed their creativity and collaboration. Their ideas were vividly presented to the adjudicators during the oral presentation session. Their reflections on the activity were posted on the board placed at the school lobby for sharing among Paulinians.

English Drama Club Acting Workshop
An acting workshop was successfully organized by the English Drama Club. 45 students from F.2 to F.4 participated in the 7-week workshop, wherein they learnt about various aspects related to acting such as voice projection, body awareness and character analysis, just to name a few.

我校在二零零八年十一月二十二日所舉行的「星島第二十四屆全港校際辯論比賽」順利晉級。是次辯題為「港府擱置高齡生果金資產審查有利香港長遠發展」,而辯論隊的成員包括中六文甲的鄧詠欣、黃千思、余佩荷及李蕙賢同學。我校除順利晉級外,余佩荷同學更獲得最佳辯論員的獎項,而鄧穎欣同學則獲得最佳交互答問辯論員的獎項。恭喜各位辯論隊的成員。

On 12 May, Wenchuan County in the northern part of Sichuan was struck by an earthquake measuring 8 on the Richter scale. The enormous quake has left thousands of casualties and has seriously damaged many houses in the rural areas, as well as schools, hospitals and other buildings.

Students witnessed the historical moment, by watching the live broadcast of the Olympic Torch Relay in Hong Kong through Campus TV from 10:10a.m. to 11:55a.m.. In order to show our support to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, 22 students accompanied by Mrs. A. Fung and Ms. F. Law, also arrived in Wan Chai at 2:45p.m. to watch the Torch Relay.

Eight parents and twenty-nine students visited the elderly at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged on 19th April 2008 (Saturday). Six students from the brass band performed four pieces of music. Agnes Cheung from 4S1 performed Cantonese operatic singing and Peggy Wong from 6B performed Chinese Kung Fu.

Our National Dance Team was awarded two Highly Commended Awards in the Dance Festival organized by Education Bureau. Moreover, Natalie Chan (1B) and Wien Lee (1D) won two Honours Awards in Dancesport section.

Womania – Drama Festival Performance
Six F.4 students co-wrote the script for Womania, the school's entry into the 2007-2008 Hong Kong School Drama Festival. Approximately 30 Paulinians from various forms were involved in the production. The play was performed to all F.4 students in the hall on 19th February 2008.

Students from F.1 to F.4, as well as F.6, enjoyed The Legend of Mulan, a spectacular drama performed by the English educational drama group Chunky Onion, on 18th February 2008 in the school hall.

Book Purchase & Reading Activity at Page One
20 students from Form 3 visited Page one. They purchased books for their class based on various themes such as horror and movies. This activity aims at arousing students' interest in reading by allowing them to choose the books that they like.

Visit to the Hong Kong Heritage Museum
Form 3 students visited the Hong Kong Heritage Museum in Shatin. They were impressed by the professional art pieces of two exhibitions, the "Fashion Attitude – Hong Kong Fashion Design" and the "Beyond the surface – Hong Kong International Poster Triennial 2007".

Every student was assigned to take part in one of the courses based on their own preference. The courses include Pottery Workshop, Have Fun with Beads(串珠工作坊), Have Fun with Flour Clay (麵粉黏土蛋糕製作工作坊), Go Chess(圍棋工作坊), Chinese Conventional Paper Cutting Craftwork(中國民間剪紙工作坊), Magic Workshop, Rugby Training Class, Graffiti Workshop(塗鴉工作坊), Talk on Reading, and Workshop with Embrace Africa.
