Form 1 Bridging Programme Learning Celebration
All new Form 1 students had great fun at the learning celebration of their bridging programme on 28 August, 2010. Parents who attended the graduation ceremony were proud to see their daughters act, sing, dance, and present in English. Thanks must be given to the tutors from Oxford and Cambridge universities for their enjoyable and educational lessons.

Every Drop Counts
A group of F.4 Biology students attended a program organised by the Ocean Park Academy Hong Kong to know more about Ocean Park's public water usage systems, chilling systems and animal husbandry facilities. Students also got an in-depth understanding of water usage and sustainable ways of managing water resources in their daily lives.

Polar Expedition and Life
Dr. Rebecca Lee (§õ¼Ö¸Ö³Õ¤h), who is well acclaimed as the first woman explorer to reach the Arctic, Antarctic and Mount Everest, shared with us her invaluable experience and reflections in some of her expeditions. The Creative Arts Workshop (Primary Schools), which is part of the Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and Hong Kong Institute of Aesthetic Education, was held in SPSS on 10 April 2010. Famine Lunch
The annual Famine Lunch was held on 24 February 2010 with more than 500 Paulinians participating. 33 parents volunteered to help in the distribution of bread and the enumeration. A total of $12,000 was collected and will be donated to the victims of the Haiti Earthquake through Caritas Hong Kong.

The Painting on Fabric 2009: Mixed Media Painting Competition was held on 18th December, 2009. This year, participants had to demonstrate their sewing power as well as their painting skills! Students from 4D and 4E organized a service project to ask for donation of food for the Food Bank of the Hong Kong New Immigrants Association. The Harvard Book Prize was awarded to Clarie Lee (6AS), Regine Loo (6AS), and Kitty Wong (6B) for their excellence in scholarship and high character, and achievement in sports, and social and religious service. The Know Drug No Drug competition was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Police (Wan Chai), JPC and the Wan Chai District Board. It was opened to all secondary schools in the Wan Chai district. Of the 106 winners, 98 were from SPSS, that means 92.5% of the winners were Paulinians. Well done, girls !

The 45th School Dance Festival
Our school¡¦s Oriental Dance Team was awarded three Highly Commended Awards in the 45th School Dance Festival organized by the Education Bureau. The first one was awarded to Yanmmy Tang (6AA) for her solo performance. The second one was awarded to Sandy Yip (2B) and Tanya Cheng (3A) for their duet performance. The third one was awarded to the whole Oriental Dance Team for their group performance.

Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power conducted a whole day workshop called ¡¥Life Builder¡¦ for our Form 3 students on 19th January, 2009. It was an experiential training which helped students reinforce positive values and attitudes through mass games and exercises. Feedback from students was encouraging. They were motivated and inspired to move forward in life.

Students gained more thorough understanding about the process of blood donation and the contribution they can make through the act. Flag Raising Ceremony
To celebrate the National Day, all Paulinians and teachers attended the solemn flag raising ceremony in a bright, clear morning. The Paulinians learned the history of the National Day from a brief presentation given by two students. The national flag was unfurled as the school orchestra was performing the national anthem. The music obviously struck a chord with all the participants as they stood attentively during the entire ceremony.

Form 6 students visited the photo exhibition on Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh organized by Medecins Sans Frontieres. Students showed concern about the desperate situation faced by the refugees who were trapped for 15 years. Some of them are now conducting a research project on the refugees.

Regine Anne Loo of 4S2 was awarded the Champion and Gabby Chow of 3B was awarded the 3rd runner-up in the Hong Kong Schools Writing Contest 2007 organized by Department of Education Queensland International.

Basketball Team Overall Champion 2006-07
Our Basketball Team was awarded the Overall Champion of Hong Kong Island Girls Division Two in the Inter-School Basketball Competition. Our A-grade Team was the 3rd runner-up. The 1st Liberal Studies Award Scheme
Our School was shortlisted as one of the most outstanding schools for the 1st Liberal Studies Award Scheme sponsored by the Law's Charitable Foundation and co-organized by the EMB. The award ceremony was held on 25th October 2006 at the Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre.
